Cool paper designs

A cool paper design is a craft that I learned in school. I usually make ones that look like masks. I am probably going to wear this on Halloween.

First, you take a piece of paper.

Finally, cut any kind of cool designs you like!

Origami Fortune teller

First, you need to take a piece of paper that is exactly a square.

Next, you fold the four corners.

Then, you turn the paper over and fold those four corners.

When you finish all of the folding this is how it should look like from the top.

After that, you write some topics and fortunes down.

When you finish the folding this is how it should look like from the bottom.

This is one of the for tune tellers I did.

This is the inside of it and if you don't understand what the topics are the topics are the things you write like I did animals and numbers.

These are one of the fortunes I did but when you write them don't tell any one what they are.

This is another one that I did and if you don't know where to put the fortunes you put them under one of the topics.

I, Robot

A name robot is a craft that I invented. It looks like a robot and it has your name on it. It is supposed to be like you. I think that it's really cool!

I made this one.

First, cut a rectangular piece of paper and cut your name into it.

Second, cut another rectangular piece of paper in a different colour, and glue it on the back of the other piece.

Third, cut a circular piece of paper and draw your face on it. Glue that part on to the 2 rectangular pieces.

Fourth, cut out a crazy hairdo and stick it on the head (optional).

Fifth, make 4 '' springies'' by folding 2 pieces of paper over and over keeping it in an L shape. This is for the arms and legs.

Finally, you've got yourself in robot form!!

Fun in Playland

It's summer so we went to PlayLand. PlayLand is my favourite! It has the best rides ever. This is Atmosfear. It swings you up over 150m above the ground. It's so scary, but fun.

The wet log ride, sooooooooo ammmmmazzzzing...

My sister got sick,  not me, I want more rides!

This is the Hellovator. It's really scary, it goes up and down really fast. I got butter flies in my stomach.

Crazy Beach Party turns you around sooo fast!

The corkscrew is a roller coaster that goes so fast. AHHH!

Best waits at the end, all that junk food, that I never eat!

Paper Glasses

Those are big glasses!
This is one pair that I did!

Paper glasses is a craft that I invented. It looks really cool on people because I usually make very big glasses so they are the size of your head. Paper glasses are one of my favorite crafts.

First, you cut out two circles. (Big or small whichever you like).

Second, you cut out two lines of paper and stick them on to the paper circles.

Finally, You have yourself a pair of paper glasses!

Tip: Try to use different colours for the two circles. (It looks really cool).

Space Centre visit - Mission to Mars

Space Centre is fun place to be!
I wish one day I can fly to the Moon….for realllll.. Or Mars, how they did recently (not humans, robots). First human on Mars, maybe it will be me!

Me astronaut

Alien attack!!

Did you know :

Even though Mars has only 15% of the Earth’s volume and just over 10% of the Earth’s mass, around two thirds of the Earth’s surface is covered in water. Martian surface gravity is only 37% of the Earth’s (meaning you could leap nearly three times higher on Mars).
Mars is home to the tallest mountain in the solar system.
Olympus Mons, a shield volcano, is 21km high and 600km in diameter. Despite having formed over billions of years, evidence from volcanic lava flows is so recent many scientists believe it could still be active.
Mars has the largest dust storms in the solar system:
They can last for months and cover the entire planet. The seasons are extreme because its elliptical (oval-shaped) orbital path around the Sun is more elongated than most other planets in the solar system.
On Mars the Sun appears about half the size as it does on Earth:
At the closest point to the Sun, the Martian southern hemisphere leans towards the Sun, causing a short, intensely hot summer, while the northern hemisphere endures a brief, cold winter: at its farthest point from the Sun, the Martian northern hemisphere leans towards the Sun, causing a long, mild summer, while the southern hemisphere endures a lengthy, cold winter.
Pieces of Mars have fallen to Earth:
Scientists have found tiny traces of Martian atmosphere within meteorites violently ejected from Mars, then orbiting the solar system amongst galactic debris for millions of years, before crash landing on Earth. This allowed scientists to begin studying Mars prior to launching space missions.

I want to walk on Mars .. Maybe one day..

Me trying to blend in and look like a martian.

Diorama

A diorama is a scene of a book or movie that you like. It is one of my favorite things to do!

This is one that I did. It's a scene from the book Charlotte's Web.

First, you take an empty shoe box.

Next, you take whichever materials you like.

Finally, you shape the materials into characters you like. You glue them into the shoe box and you have yourself a diorama.

Birthday present for my sister!

My big sister had her birthday last week, so I wanted to make a big surprise for her!

I made for her a toy-Monster with my old shirts!

I first cut my old undershirts to fill the monster.
Than I cut out with a nice fabrics, the eyes, legs and arms.
Than I cut out his body in the prettiest design.
The hardest part was to stitch all that together. I wanted to do everything on my own, so nobody knew, even my mom, so she couldn't help me. I had to remember how to stitch. I trained first aside and then start stitching the body of Monster. I added other parts and eyes at the end!

I showed it first to my mom and dad, they couldn't believe that I did all by myself!

Then my mom said that I have to decorate the cake that she made for my sister with my Monster so it matches.

Yes I did that too!

At the end, my sister was so happy with all her presents but she loved my the most!

I was so proud!
